List of current contacts for recruitment

Author: Guenhwyvar :: Posted: Thu Oct 27, 2005 7:09 pm

Welcome to Genocidal Tendencies!

Since the list of current officers has changed, I felt the need to update and post here in case anyone needs in-game contact for recruitment. Feel free to ask questions.

Guenhwyvar
Argun
Bohagen (aka Legalos, Lega)
Foofur
Gauner
Necromance
Taomage
Watsonite

** note** the above list changes as members become active

You can also view our memberlist and get the feel of our shell through their eyes too. feel free to ask around.

NOTICE! PLEASE READ.

We are now listed in the linkshell directory on Killing Ifrit. If you are viewing this website as a result of KI, please adhere to the basic format we've instructed you with. PLEASE do not register to this site yet as we will delete you without first knowing who you are.

Please post a response below stating your name, job levels, and any possible known contacts from the above list. From there we can evaluate you from within our own ranks. As stated below we are not at all an elitist linkshell, but if we feel you will be a cause of future problems, you will be removed from the linkshell either by myself or any of my officers without notice. Explanations for removal are not required on our end.

A grace period will be allowed for new recruits upon joining so that we can see whether or not you will mesh well with our group. Bad attitudes, greedy individuals, and self-centered people: please do not waste our time. Since we are a social shell (with a lot of power), we are quite capable of taking on much end game material and we will help you out as much as you put into this shell. There are no job requirements, tho we do prefer players who arent fresh out of registration.

We will not tolerate being used, you get out what you put in. We also do not wish to be used as a "stepping stone" to get into other HNM based linkshells (ex. getting help with sky or sea access only to leave immediately after). Serious inquiries only please. We are a very active bunch of talented players, but if your goal is solely item procurement then i strongly suggest you reconsider your application. There are many endgame shells out there that will gladly abuse your time so they get what they want and hand you the scraps. Go bother them, we are not about that here.

We are a large shell and have been around since April 2004. Our strengths solely reside in that of our management here. We are all a tight-knit bunch who have open communication as well as being close friends for a couple of years now. Since we have stood the test of time we have also become pretty good as far as judging who will make it and who will not. If you have a problem with any of our existing members before you register please reconsider. DRAMA WILL NOT BE AN ISSUE HERE! We are all about fun and getting things done.

Good day, good luck, happy hunting. Feel free to contact us here or in game.

How to gain access to Genocidal Tendencies

Author: Guenhwyvar :: Posted: Thu Mar 31, 2005 6:22 am
Hello everyone!

My name is Guenhwyvar, founder of Genocidal Tendencies, a FFXI Online Community Linkshell located on the Titan server. This is a website set up to aid our members in their journeys throughout Vana'diel. We use this site to correspond with our in-game activity, set up events and share valuable information.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have only two major prerequisites for joining our shell. You must be on the Titan server first and formost, and you must have a good attitude. Players who show greed and create unending drama may be asked to leave. Playing FFXI Online should be a fun experience, and this is the primary focus of our linkshell.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Genocidal Tendencies is a linkshell dedicated to the aid of fellow members. Trust and teamwork is appreciated. We are a linkshell with a strong sense of community, and we welcome new members openly. We are not a HNM Linkshell, but we do aim at taking them down as part of events scheduled with our members with having fun in mind, not item aquisition.

We are not an elitist Linkshell, but we do rely on the bonds we make here to accomplish our goals. Warm up to us, and we will warm up to you. If you wish to join us, you can speak to any of our members online, or if it is easier you can click here and post a reply with your Character Name.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Site access will be given out by Administrators after a new member has proven him or herself. As of right now the Administrators to this Website are:

Guenhwyvar
Deacon
Argun
Enfuega
Hanimmal
Elenya
Thanas
Najuxu

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any unfamiliar names to the linkshell who try to register will be deleted automatically, as we use our in-game names as usernames here.

Upon trying to register, our Administrators recieve private messages regarding acceptance of membership. Please be patient, as it may take a day or 2 before it is processed.

With all that in mind, enjoy our Site and our Linkshell.

If you wish to post information from another site, please only include a link to the appropriate website and page. Aggregating information from multiple sources and appending to the existing knowledge so as to make the information more conveniently available is acceptable (see: Food Vendors and Mog House Exit Quests for examples.)

Please restrict posting information to things you have 1st hand knowledge of. The GT forums are a place of learning, discussion and communication for our linkshell members and their knowledge. We need to keep the information available here pertaining to what our members have learned from personal experience (see: Deacon's personal account of the Utsusemi: Ichi Quest). As previously stated, posting links to other websites with useful information is perfectly fine. This is only a quality control measure to ensure the boards don't get clogged with redundant information.
